Canon Professional Services pulls a not so smart move..
As a member of Canon Professional Services and a life long Canon user I am more than a little unhappy with Canon's recent decision to start charging Pros for their memberships. It is not so bad that they are charging for some of their services such as expedited repairs and equipment loans, but they are now dictating the model of equipment you must have to be a member. Many of their digital cameras work fine for pros, yet Canon considers only people who own the flagship models to be worthy of their programs. Apparently they have never heard the axiom, "cameras are just tool, photographers make photos".
